Il contest LEGO Ideas legato al mondo di Jurassic Park continua a sfornare capolavori nonostante sia terminato. L’ultimo di questi è l’opera dell’artista LEGO® Scott Wilhelm che ci propone un tirannosauro vegetariano.

Come spesso accade in questi casi, oltre all’opera spettacolare che, in cui la testa del t-rex è forse tra le più somiglianti a quella reale, l’artista ha anche creato un background per dare un contesto ed una motivazione alla sua opera che vi riportiamo qui di seguito.

 

 

After witnessing catastrophe after catastrophe plaguing his prehistoric creations for decades, Dr. Wu finally realized it was time to solve the problem at it’s source. He decided to target the genes that drive carnivorous behavior in the animals he cloned. by making all the dinosaurs vegetarians, there was no longer a danger to the patrons of the Parks. He created Tyrannosaurs that are just as aggressive and ferocious, only toward lettuce this time. However, these more civilized dinos quickly developed rather picky eating habits, and their newfound leafy cravings had to be served to them in a more pleasing manner. Constructing the gigantic furniture was almost as expensive as the cloning process…
