A marzo del 2020 Space X invierà un nuovo cargo sull’ISS. Includerà anche una cultura con quasi 500 cellule vegetali di marijuana.
Si tratterebbe di cannabis legale, quella che in genere viene chiamata cannabis light e che, in altre parole, ha un contenuto di THC estremamente limitato.
La cannabis sarà tenuta per 30 giorni in un incubatore dell’International Space Station, e verrà contestualmente monitorata da terra dalla BioServe Space Technologies.
Dopo 30 giorni tornerà sulla terra, dove verrà studiato che effetto hanno microgravità e microradiazioni sulle piante di marijuana.
