Rumor a destra e a manca per il sequel di uno dei pilastri degli anni ’80, The Goonies. Ora anche l’attrice Martha Plimpton, dopo Corey Feldman, conferma che dal fronte tutto tace.

Forse i Goonies riusciranno a non soccombere al trend degli ultimi anni, ma non è detta l’ultima parola. Nel corso del 2015 lo si dava ormai per certo, ma ora l’attrice rivela che con ogni probabilità non si farà. Non ne ha più avuto notizie e pensa che questi rumor siano una giocosa vendetta del regista.

I wish I had an answer for you, but I can tell you that I really wouldn’t expect it. It’s been teased for decades and I don’t think it’s going to happen. At least, as far as I know. I think [director] Dick Donner, who is a brilliantly funny man, likes to torture us all with the prospect. I believe it’s his revenge for having been tortured by all of us for 6 months in 1984.
