f you are a father this video will do something to you. It shows a 5-year-old Palestinian boy begging Israeli soldiers not to take his father. The father was being arrested for stealing water from an illegal Jewish settlement. The father needed the water to irrigate his land, which will no doubt soon be taking by another illegal Israeli settlement. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t approve of the way Hamas and the likes wage their war, but I am no fan of the Israeli policies either.

Non sono padre, ma questo video mi ha fatto rabbrividire, e poi incazzare.

La situazione arabo-israeliana è molto complessa e le sue motivazioni affondano in secoli di scontri e odio, non esclusivamente religioso, e una forte responsabilità va sicuramente imputata ai governi europei.
E’ fin troppo facile schierarsi ciecamente da una parte o dall’altra, facendo semplice fanatismo da stadio, ma scene del genere non possono essere tollerabili.
