Dopo alcune immagini di anteprima è stato rivelato il teaser trailer di Hocus Pocus 2, il  film sequel del lungometraggio cult anni Novanta che uscirà sulla piattaforma streaming Disney+ a fine settembre. Nel film ci saranno Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker e Kathy Najimy.

Nel nuovo film tre giovani donne accidentalmente riportano in vita le sorelle Sanderson che si presenteranno così nella Salem dei giorni nostri. Bisognerà perciò comprendere come fermare la fame di bambini delle sorelle streghe, ed evitare che si crei caos e scompiglio.

A dirigere Hocus Pocus 2 c’è Anne Fletcher, mentre la sceneggiatura è di Jen D’Angelo, e la produzione è affidata alla Walt Disney Pictures.

Il cast del lungometraggio vede presenti anche Doug Jones (“The Shape of Water”), Whitney Peak (“Gossip Girl”), Lilia Buckingham (“Dirt”), Belisa Escobedo (“American Horror Stories”), Hannah Waddingham (“Ted Lasso”), Tony Hale (“Veep”), Sam Richardson (“The Tomorrow War,” “Good Boys”), Juju Brener (“Vanquish”), Froy Gutierrez (“Teen Wolf”), Taylor Paige Henderson e Nina Kitchen.  La  produzione del film è stata affidata a Lynn Harris (“King Richard,” “The Shallows”), Adam Shankman (“Disenchanted,” “Hairspray”), Ralph Winter (“Hocus Pocus,” “X-Men” franchise) e David Kirschner (“Hocus Pocus,” “Chucky”).

Hocus Pocus 2 uscirà su Disney+ il 30 settembre.
