Resurrection, il sequel de La Passione di Cristo

Si intitolerà Resurrection, il sequel della pellicola di Mel Gibson, Passion of the Christ. Lo ha rivelato lo stesso regista al Late Show, ma per vedere la pellicola dovremo aspettare 3 anni.

Anche Mel Gibson, malgrado la follia degli ultimi anni, vuole cavalcare l’onda dei sequel del passato, proponendo il secondo capitolo del suo celebre, e sicuramente controverso, Passione di Cristo. Ecco quello che ha rivelato l’attore in merito al progetto:

Sure, you’re going all over the place. What happened in three days?… I’m not sure, but it’s worth thinking about. Get your imagination going. […] It’s more than a single event, it’s an amazing event. And to underpin that with the things around it is really the story, to enlighten what that means. It’s not just about the event; it’s not just some chronological telling of just that event. That could be boring, and you think, ‘Oh, we read that.’… But what are the other things around it that happened?

Il film sarà diretto da Gibson e la sceneggiatura sarà scritta a quattro mani assieme a Randall Wallace (Braveheart).
