HowardCantour.com è il nome del primo cortometraggio diretto da Shia LaBeouf. Accolto positivamente dalla critica e finito addirittura nella selezione ufficiale del Festival di Cannes. È davvero un vero peccato che sia un plagio.
Salta fuori infatti Daniel Clowes che ha creato una storia simile, anzi, proprio uguale, solo che si chiama “Justin M. Damiano” ed è una graphic novel.
Stesso lungo monologo iniziale (parola per parola), stesse “inquadrature”, stessa idea dall’inizio alla fine.
