Cut It Out
I could stare at these all day. If you look closely at example number 23, the coupling housing doesn’t seem to be connected by the standard 3/4″ cross-threaded hex bolt to the rotator splint. As all of you know, that can be dangerous while disengaging the main base-plate from the bearing shaft, thus causing catastrophic failure of the differential girdle spring.
