I Golden Globe Awards 2011

Potremmo sottotitolare la cerimonia di consegna dei Golden Globes edizione 2011 come trionfo di “The social network”. Il film di David Fincher ha portato a casa le statuette più importanti, superando pellicole come The fighter ed Il discorso del re. Io ancora devo vederli tutti e tre, un po’ per colpa mia, un po’ per colpa della lentezza dei distributori italiani.

La premiazione di ieri sera non ha rappresentato una particolare sorpresa, direi anzi che potremmo rivivere la stessa identica situazione anche ai prossimi premi Oscar.

La serata è stata condotta da Ricky Gervais: ad alternarsi sul palco con lui c’erano Justin Bieber e Zac Efron, insieme all’ormai onnipresente Robert Pattinson.

Alla serata vi erano anche Michael Douglas, che da mesi sta lottando contro un tumore, e Robert de Niro, insignito del premio alla carriera.

Ovviamente, possiamo tutti quanti esultare per Jim Parsons/Sheldon (premio meritatissimo). La sua premiazione è stata presentata da Kaley Cuoco, visibilmente emozionata per la vittoria dell’amico, questo è il video su youtube che immortala il momento, su segnalazione di Grandauer: .

Personalmente, ho apprezzato anche il premio a Claire Danes per “Temple Grandin”, dove lei interpretava la famosa scienziata autistica (presto un post), e quello ad Al Pacino, anche se non ho visto “You Don’t Know Jack”, penso che glielo si possa assegnare “sulla parola”.

Non capisco, invece, la mancanza di “How I Met Your Mother” tra i telefilm e l’eccessivo peso dato a “Boardwalk Empire” in campi in cui “Dexter” e Michael C. Hall meritano di regnare incontrastati.

Ah, segnalo, inoltre, la presenza tra i nominati di un film italiano che mi era sconosciuto: “Io sono l’amore”, un titolo a dir poco eccessivo che nasconde la seguente trama:

Il film è incentrato sulle vicende della ricca famiglia lombarda dei Recchi, composta da Emma e Tancredi e dai loro figli Elisabetta, Edoardo e Gianluca. Tra riti borghesi e convenzioni sociali, si consumano le storie dei vari membri della famiglia, alle prese con gli affari dell’azienda familiare e ruoli che la loro posizione gli impone. L’algida Emma troverà conforto e amore tra le braccia del giovane cuoco, Antonio. La passione che scoppia tra due anime totalmente differenti, come sono Emma e Antonio, romperà legami e convenzioni ben radicate, portando i due ad entrare in contatto con la loro vera natura, perché l’amore ha sempre un prezzo da pagare.

Il “mah” è d’obbligo, spero che l’Italia esporti film migliori e più ricchi di contenuti in futuro.
